Last Meeting

Thank you everyone that attended our May meeting, it was a very productive Working Bee. Lorraine & Lesley would like to express their gratitude for the help in putting together our Pillows and Chemo Packs, many hands make the workload lighter, so well done Ladies !!! Leslie sent through to me a text after the meeting to pass on her personal appreciation, as she now has 40 pillow sets, all filled and ready to stitch, this supply will hopefully last for the rest of the year.

“Breast Friends” Morning Tea Fundraiser was again a great success this year, special Thank you to Judy for hosting our event, the ladies enjoyed a beautiful morning catching up whilstindulging in an array of delicious cakes & slices, raising funds of nearly $700 for our group. The group would also like to acknowledge the generosity of Woolworth’s Forster & Tuncurry Pharmacy for the donation of raffle prizes.

“Breast Friends” has also received this month donations from the Tuncurry Sporties Ladies Bowls Club and Forster/Tuncurry Lions Club, we are very grateful for their ongoing support of our group. These donations have assisted in the purchase of a Pneumatic Pump for the Forster Hospital Oncology Department.

Next Meeting Wednesday 1st JULY 2026 4pm Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club

Our July meeting we have Oncologist Dr Syapiq Long joining us, we look forward to having him attend. Please note that the AGM has had to be postponed to August  

Morning Tea 15th JUNE 2026 10am

Morning Tea this month will be held at the Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, come along for a social chat, Coffee/tea & cake.
