Last Meeting
Our March meeting was well attended, with all the ladies enjoying sharing stories on various subjects. Marie brought to every ones attention the importance of having an “Advanced Care Plan” in place. If you haven’t already organised your advanced care plan you can do so by contacting “Advanced Care Planning Australia” on 1300208582 or visit advancecareplanning.org.au and you can request a free booklet to be sent to you.
Thank you to Lorraine & Anna for representing our group at the opening of the new “Cancer Care Manning Great Lakes” centre situated at 88 Cornwall Street, Taree. Both ladies were very impressed with the facility, the centre includes a state-of-the-art Linear Accelerator Radiation Oncology Unit, delivering high quality, person-centred care with no waiting list and 100% bulk billed.
