Our November meeting we once again had the pleasure of Bruce Hopper our local Senior Genetic Counsellor join us. Bruce’s presentations are always very interesting and informative and the ladies that attended really enjoyed talking with him. He spoke of some of the challenges in collecting the family history and the importance of the research being done in this field. Bruce answered many questions the group put forward to him at the meeting.

The Group has been advised the new “Chemotherapy Garden” at Forster Private Hospital will be opened at the end of November. This garden  will be a wonderful addition to the hospital Oncology area. Representatives from the group will be attending the opening so if you would like to attend please contact Lorraine for more information
